Full canonical Shadow Knight spell list for The Last Camp — TAKP/PoP era, 133 spells across fear, lifetap, DOT, pet, and undead control.
Shadow Knight spells are the dark-melee hybrid's wide casting toolkit on The Last Camp — substantially deeper than Paladin's by spell count and category, reflecting the SK's role as a self-sustaining solo monster, fear-kite kingpin, and disease/poison DOT wielder. Through Planes of Power, the SK's 133-spell list is the largest of the four hybrids, covering lifetaps, fear (single-target and AoE), DOTs (Heart Flutter, Heat Blood, Boil Blood, Ignite Blood, Asystole), undead control and undead nukes, summoned pets, terror lines, and the Voice/Shroud/Aura/Cloak self-buff stacks.
The SK casts on real mana from a wisdom pool but the spell book is structured around tapping HP back from enemies, which keeps the SK functional with a lower mana ceiling than a true caster. Most SKs build for HP first, AC second, and mana third — the lifetap line replaces wisdom-driven sustain.

Spell line overview
Lifetap. Lifetap → Lifespike → Vampiric Embrace → Lifedraw → Life Leech → Siphon Life → Drain Spirit → Drain Soul → Bond of Death is the core HP-restoration ladder — every tap returns HP to the SK while damaging the target. Vampiric Curse is the proc-rate variant; Vampiric Embrace at 22 grants an on-melee-hit lifetap effect.
Fear. Fear → Fear II → Invoke Fear is the single-target fear line (the canonical SK kite tool). Panic the Dead at 54 fears undead specifically. Cascading Darkness at 59 is the era top-tier fear with lifetap component. The "Terror" line — Terror of Darkness → Terror of Shadows → Terror of Death → Terror of Terris → Terror of Thule — is the instant-cast fear progression.
DOTs. Disease Cloud → Heat Blood → Boil Blood → Ignite Blood is the disease/fire damage-over-time chain. Heart Flutter → Asystole is the heart-attack DOT line. Engulfing Darkness → Dooming Darkness → Festering Darkness is the magic-school DOT line. Spear of Disease → Spear of Pain → Spear of Plague → Spear of Decay is the SK direct-damage spear ladder (0.5s cast time, mana-efficient burst).
Pets and corpse control. Leering Corpse → Bone Walk → Convoke Shadow → Restless Bones → Animate Dead → Summon Dead → Malignant Dead → Cackling Bones → Invoke Death is the necromancer-style summoned pet ladder. Cackling Bones at 58 and Invoke Death at 64 are the SK's serious solo/group-boost pets. Lesser Summon Corpse → Summon Corpse → Conjure Corpse handles in-zone corpse retrieval.
Self-buffs. Grim Aura → Banshee Aura → Aura of Darkness → Aura of Pain → Aura of Hate is the SK self-aura damage-shield/melee-buff line. Shroud of Hate → Shroud of Pain → Shroud of Death → Shroud of Undeath → Shroud of Chaos is the self-mitigation line. Voice of Darkness → Voice of Shadows → Voice of Death → Voice of Terris → Voice of Thule is the self-INT/HP buff line. Cloak of the Akheva → Cloak of Luclin add raid-tier self-mitigation.
Skin/AC self-buffs. Shieldskin → Steelskin → Diamondskin is the absorbed-damage shield line, plus Harmshield (5-second invulnerability cap) at 51 — the iconic SK panic button.
Undead nukes. Expulse Undead → Dismiss Undead → Expel Undead → Deny Undead is the undead-typed AoE damage line. Word of Spirit at 49 is the AoE undead-targeted nuke.
Disciplines. Resistant Discipline, Fearless Discipline, Unholy Aura Discipline, and Leechcurse Discipline are the SK's instant-cast burn buttons.

Class-specific quirks
The level-1 Harm Touch entry has three Lucy IDs because the spell exists in multiple variants in legacy data (base, alternate, and item-modified) — only one is active in your spellbook at a time, with potency upgraded via Itraer Vius bracer and similar quest gear. Vampiric Embrace at level 1 (passive) and again at level 22 (cast) is the era-canonical SK lifetap-on-melee mechanic. Harmshield at 51 is a 5-second invulnerability with a long refresh and a hard cap on how often it can be reused — the SK's last-stand button.
Pet line is real (not illusory) — SK pets fight, tank, and absorb damage. Cackling Bones and Invoke Death pets are competitive with Necromancer pets of the same tier. Animate Dead and Summon Dead require corpses to be present in the zone for the highest-tier pet variants in classic-era mechanics, though TAKP-era often relaxes this.
The Last Camp any-race-class note
The Last Camp allows any race to roll Shadow Knight, including Vah Shir, Wood Elf, High Elf, Halfling, Drakkin, and Gnome — combinations not possible in canonical EQ. Spell list is identical across races. Iksar Shadow Knight remains the canonical-best racial choice for HP/regen sustain plus innate AC. Ogre and Troll Shadow Knights get massive HP and frontal stun immunity; Ogre SK is one of the highest effective-HP tank choices in the game. Vah Shir or Wood Elf SKs get higher AGI/DEX for more melee crits and dodge but take a meaningful HP/AC ceiling cut versus the canonical race choices.
Spell vendors
Shadow Knight spells are sold by SK guild trainers in dark-aligned starting cities (Neriak Third Gate for Dark Elf, Grobb for Troll, Oggok for Ogre, Cabilis for Iksar, with crossover access via Freeport for evil Humans and Half Elves). PoK's consolidated SK vendor area covers 51 through 60. Levels 61 through 65 spells are split between PoK vendors and PoP-zone-specific drops/quests.
Scribing notes
Each spell scroll must be scribed individually — right-click the scroll while at or above the spell's required level. Scribing consumes the scroll. There is no auto-learn on level-up. Plan trainer visits at 9, 15, 19, 22, 25, 29, 30, 34, 39, 44, 49, 50, and every level from 51 to 65.
