Erudite

The scholars of Odus — high intelligence, cold to strangers, split between two cities.

Erudite starts in Erudin or Paineel and comes out of Toxxulia Forest with a clear identity. Their primary deity tradition is Quellious, Prexus, Cazic-Thule. Canon ties them hardest to Wizard, Magician, Enchanter, Necromancer, Cleric, Paladin, and Shadow Knight. On The Last Camp, the race keeps that flavor while the class wall comes down.

On The Last Camp

The Last Camp runs the any-race-class doctrine. A Erudite can roll the full table: War, Cle, Pal, Rng, SK, Dru, Mnk, Brd, Rog, Shm, Nec, Wiz, Mag, Enc, Bst, Ber. The old lockouts mattered on Live; here they are character flavor, not a character creation prison. For this race, the newly rollable set is Warrior, Ranger, Druid, Monk, Bard, Rogue, Shaman, Beastlord, and Berserker.

Faction still bites. Erudite characters start in good standing with their chosen Odus side: Erudin for clean scholars or Paineel for Heretics. They start hostile or functionally unwelcome around the opposing Odus city, plus most evil cities for good Erudites and good cities for Heretics. Any-race-class does not launder your face; an enemy race at the wrong gate is still an enemy race.

Plane of Knowledge access changes the long game. At level 1, an Erudite reaches PoK by Odus boat routes, Paineel access, or the server travel path once unlocked. PoK bridges Erudin and Paineel better than Odus ever did

Leveling path

  1. 1-8: Toxxulia Forest — kobolds, beetles, and skeletons outside the academy walls.
  2. 8-15: The Warrens — kobolds and faction lessons.
  3. 15-22: Eruds Crossing — island spawns with escape space.
  4. 22-25: Stonebrunt Mountains — tougher Odus wildlife and cleaner outdoor pulls.

AAs after 65

The level cap is 65. After that, advancement moves into Alternate Advancement: class-defining passives, defensive buttons, pet power, crit lines, and travel tools. Pick AAs by job, not vanity; a race choice gives flavor, but AA spend makes the finished character. Start with Wizard AA, Enchanter AA, Necromancer AA, Cleric AA.
