THE LAST CAMP

The Ring of Water is the Planes-of-Power access ring that opens Plane of Water, the elemental realm of Coirnav and the Prexus-aligned aquatic court. The chain runs through the Prexus shrine in Plane of Knowledge, with prerequisite Plane of Justice flagging and a set of water-aligned planar reagents. Without the ring, no character zones into Plane of Water on The Last Camp.

The ring is no-drop and persistent. One chain per character, then PoWater is open whenever you raid it.

At a glance

Field Value
Reward Ring of Water (no-drop, persistent — Plane of Water access)
Quest type Key / access (PoP elemental ring)
Recommended level 60-65 (PoP-cap range); raid-tier component drops
Solo / group / raid Group for some reagents, raid for the planar drops
Zones visited Plane of Knowledge, Plane of Justice, additional PoP zones for reagent drops
Time estimate 1-3 sessions assuming the raid drops are accessible
Prereqs Plane of Justice flag (PoJ access flag); raid-capable character

Reward

Ring of Water is no-drop, lore, and not consumed on use. Once obtained, Plane of Water opens with the ring in inventory at the PoWater portal in Plane of Knowledge. The ring has no combat stats — it is a pure access item.

Walkthrough

Step 1 — Confirm Plane of Justice flag

Before starting the Ring of Water chain, your character needs the Plane of Justice flag. PoJ is the gateway flag for the elemental rings — without it, the Prexus shrine NPC will not progress the chain. See PoP Flagging for the full PoJ flag walkthrough.

Step 2 — Speak to the Prexus shrine NPC in PoK

Travel to Plane of Knowledge and find the Prexus shrine NPC at the Prexus shrine in the religion district. Hail him; with the PoJ flag confirmed, he will offer the Ring of Water chain.

Step 3 — Collect the planar reagents

The chain requires a set of PoP-era planar reagents — water-aligned drops from named encounters in PoP zones. Specific reagent names and zones are TAKP-canonical and stable across servers. The reagents are the bottleneck of the chain: most are raid-tier drops, some are group-tier.

Save every reagent drop. They are no-drop and chain-specific — selling or destroying one restarts that step.

Step 4 — Return to the Prexus shrine NPC

Bring all reagents back to the Prexus shrine NPC in PoK. Hand them in. He combines the reagents with the ring blank and gives you the Ring of Water.

Step 5 — Use the ring

Travel to the PoWater portal in Plane of Knowledge (in the planar transport area). With the ring in inventory, the portal accepts you and you zone into Plane of Water.

Plane of Water — what awaits

PoWater is Coirnav's elemental realm — water-aligned named, an underwater layout where mobility and water-breathing matter, and a final encounter with Coirnav himself at the deep core. The zone is full PoP raid content. Coirnav holds raid-tier loot and is a major step in the elemental-tier progression toward Plane of Time.

A raid clearing PoWater wants:

  • Water-breathing buffs and items for every member — drowning is real.
  • Heavy cleric coverage for the ambient damage in the deeper zones.
  • Lightning DPS classes are favored for the water-aligned named (Wizards with lightning nukes).
  • Multiple keyed pullers in case of deaths during named engagements.

Where the ring sits in PoP progression

The four elemental rings — Fire, Water, Air, Earth — are the gates to Plane of Time. A character that wants Time access needs all four elemental rings (or the equivalent flagged completion of those planes). Ring of Water is one of the four; players typically chase it alongside the others as part of a guild's parallel progression strategy.

Coirnav loot is favored by certain caster classes for its lightning-resist and water-aligned stat combinations. Some guilds prioritize Water for the gear; others schedule it last because of the underwater-logistics overhead. Either order works on The Last Camp.

Custom race-class adjustments

The Ring of Water chain is class-neutral and faction-neutral on the reagents — drops are kill-loot. The Last Camp's any-race-class doctrine plays cleanly here.

Iksar and Troll players have a regen-in-water advantage in PoWater raids; cloth-armor races without water-breathing items take the most logistical setup. Plan EnduringBreath rotations before the raid begins.

Tips

  • Get PoJ flag first. The Prexus shrine NPC will not progress the chain without it.
  • Coordinate the planar reagent kills with a raid schedule. Most reagents are full-raid drops.
  • Save every reagent. No-drop and chain-specific — losses restart that step.
  • Bring water-breathing for everyone in the PoWater raid. Drowning during a fight is a wipe pattern.
  • The ring is permanent. One chain, one ring, lifetime PoWater access.
  • Cross-reference the PoP Flagging page for the broader elemental progression order.
