Crusader of Greenmist Bow Turn-In (Faction)
Repeatable Iksar bow turn-in for Cabilis access. Kunark-era Crusaders of Greenmist faction.
The Crusader of Greenmist Bow Turn-In is a repeatable faction quest using bows looted from Iksar Crusader NPCs. Hand them in to Iksar faction-quest givers in Cabilis for shifts on Crusaders of Greenmist faction. This is one of two parallel paths into Cabilis — pair it with Sarnak Medallion turn-ins for the fastest combined grind.

How to obtain the item
The Crusader of Greenmist bow drops from Crusader-tier Iksar NPCs operating in Kunark hunting grounds. Most reliably, these NPCs spawn around the sarnak hunting areas in Lake of Ill Omen and the Kunark wilderness adjoining Cabilis. Kill them, loot the bow, return it to the city. Drop rate hedge: bows are a moderate drop — bring multiple players or expect a longer grind than for sarnak medallions.
Note: there's overlap with the broader Crusader of Greenmist quest line for Iksar Shadow Knight-flavor content. The faction turn-in described here is the simpler item-handoff path, not the longer epic-flavor chain.
Where to turn in
Hand in to Iksar faction NPCs in Cabilis. The bow turn-in NPC is distinct from the sarnak medallion NPC — different quest givers accept different items. Hail dialogs to find the right NPC. The Last Camp's cabeast and cabwest zones both map to the Cabilis wiki page.
Faction implications
Each turn-in raises Crusaders of Greenmist faction specifically — slightly different weighting than the sarnak medallion turn-in, which favors Legion of Cabilis. Both feed into "you can walk through Cabilis safely." For Iksar Shadow Knight characters running canonical content, this faction is also a prerequisite for several class-flavor quest unlocks.
The shift per bow is moderate — bigger than a common sarnak medallion, smaller than a named-Sarnak medallion. Plan on multiple bows for any meaningful faction movement.
Variations and edge cases
A few things to note:
- Bow drops are moderate, not common. Crusader Iksar NPCs spawn less densely than sarnak warriors, so the bow grind takes longer per turn-in than the medallion grind.
- Verify NPC dialog before turn-in. The bow turn-in NPC is a different Iksar than the medallion turn-in NPC — wrong NPC = no faction shift.
- Crusader of Greenmist quest line vs faction grind. There's a longer Iksar-flavor Crusader quest chain that uses similar items; this page describes only the simpler faction turn-in path.
- Cabilis access required. You need to be at least apprehensive with the city guards to reach the in-Cabilis turn-in NPC. Outer-Cabilis NPCs accept lower-tier turn-ins for non-Iksar characters not yet apprehensive.
- Faction window quirks. Crusaders of Greenmist may not surface in your faction window until after the first turn-in — check after the first hand-in, not before.
The Last Camp any-race-class note
For non-Iksar SK / Necromancer / Shaman / Monk characters who want to base in Cabilis under The Last Camp's any-race-class doctrine, this is part of the standard access grind. Combine with Sarnak Medallion turn-ins for parallel faction movement. The bow-source kill location overlaps with the medallion-source kill location, so both faction streams can be farmed in a single trip to Lake of Ill Omen.
For Iksar characters playing non-canonical classes (Iksar Cleric, Iksar Paladin, Iksar Druid), the bow turn-in re-asserts hometown faction that the unusual class might otherwise weaken via opposing-religion quests.
Tips
- Combine with Sarnak Medallion. Both share kill zones; one trip serves two grinds.
- Bows are a moderate drop. Don't expect one per kill; bring patience or a group.
- Crusader Iksar NPCs roam. Watch for spawn timers and patrol paths.
- +Crusaders of Greenmist unlocks Iksar SK quest dialogs later in the Kunark progression.
- Combine with Sebilis-key prep. The same general zones feed into the Sebilis Key quest.
- Check faction window after first turn-in. Confirm the bow is shifting the faction you expect.
- Bind near Cabilis. A bind point in Cabilis cuts return-trip time on long farming sessions.
- Save bows in batches. Hand them in 5-10 at a time rather than one at a time for efficiency.
- Crusader Iksar NPCs follow patrol paths. Watch the path for spawn-camping; a single camp can produce several bows over an hour.
- The same kill location yields sarnak medallions. Loot everything; the medallions feed the parallel grind.
- Combine with Sebilis-key prep batches for efficient Kunark progression alignment.
