Iksar starts in Cabilis and comes out of Field of Bone with a clear identity. Their primary deity tradition is Cazic-Thule. Canon ties them hardest to Monk, Shadow Knight, Necromancer, Shaman, Warrior, and Beastlord. On The Last Camp, the race keeps that flavor while the class wall comes down.

On The Last Camp

The Last Camp runs the any-race-class doctrine. A Iksar can roll the full table: War, Cle, Pal, Rng, SK, Dru, Mnk, Brd, Rog, Shm, Nec, Wiz, Mag, Enc, Bst, Ber. The old lockouts mattered on Live; here they are character flavor, not a character creation prison. For this race, the newly rollable set is Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Druid, Bard, Rogue, Wizard, Magician, Enchanter, and Berserker.

Faction still bites. Iksar characters start in good standing with Cabilis and Iksar military, priest, and caster factions. They start hostile or functionally unwelcome around almost everywhere else: good cities, old-world evil cities, and many neutral merchants. Any-race-class does not launder your face; an enemy race at the wrong gate is still an enemy race.

Plane of Knowledge access changes the long game. At level 1, an Iksar reaches PoK through Field of Bone and Warsliks, then by Kunark routes or custom travel into PoK. PoK is liberation; the faction wall remains, but travel stops being punishment

Leveling path

  1. 1-8: Field Of Bone — scaled wolves, skeletons, and pit trash.
  2. 8-15: Kurns Tower — the best Kunark newbie dungeon.
  3. 15-22: Warsliks Wood — giants, goblins, and safer outdoor pulls.
  4. 22-25: Lake Of Ill Omen — the Kunark outdoor XP highway.

AAs after 65

The level cap is 65. After that, advancement moves into Alternate Advancement: class-defining passives, defensive buttons, pet power, crit lines, and travel tools. Pick AAs by job, not vanity; a race choice gives flavor, but AA spend makes the finished character. Start with Monk AA, Shadow Knight AA, Necromancer AA, Shaman AA.
